Ding Yang is mentored by two FISM champions, Greg Frewin and Juliana Chen. Her stage dove magic, performed in a form-fitting velvet cat-suit has revolutionised the way magicians perform that form of magic.
Ding started her performance career as a contortionist within the Chinese Circus. In 2009 she began her magic career, in a traditional Chinese style, producing eighteen doves, . Juliana Chen discovered Ding Yang in Shanghai in 2016 and was inspired by Ding's potential. Juliana had a very modern vision for Ding's dove work. She reached out to Greg Frewin, a Canadian Master Dove Magician, in March 2018 and Ding's new magic family was formed.
Together Greg and Juliana worked with Ding in Canada over a five month period to create an unprecedented performance. They incorporated Ding's acrobatic skills into her act to create magic that is uniquely her own. In 2018 Ding debuted her magic act in Las Vegas at Magic LIVE! Ding was an overnight sensation receiving two standing ovations and becoming the hit of the convention.
