Kate Bush is presented the Best Female Artist award by Ray Davies, and Peter Gabriel is presented Best Male Artist award by Kate Bush.  

Kate Bush was winning for her Album "Hounds Of Love" which features the track "Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God"), while Peter Gabriel was winning for his album "So" which features the hit "Sledgehammer"
