In this episode,
we travel to the serene city of Damyang,
where we meet a certified ‘𝙔𝙪𝙜𝙬𝙖’ Grand Master, Bok-ja Ahn.
‘𝙔𝙪𝙜𝙬𝙖’, 𝘥𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘥 𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘱𝘶𝘧𝘧𝘴,
is a traditional Korean dish
that were once reserved only for nobility.

The traditional royal dessert ‘𝙔𝙪𝙜𝙬𝙖’is made of
a dough with glutinous rice power, alcohol, sugar and soy milk.
This dough is later sliced, dried, and deep fried in oil.
The ‘𝙔𝙪𝙜𝙬𝙖’ has a crispy texture
that crumbles and melts in the mouth upon a bite.

Join us as we go on an auditory and visual journey
to learn each step of making ‘𝙔𝙪𝙜𝙬𝙖’.
