AN/PVS-14 and AN/PVS-22 Night Vision

This was just a short video shot with a Kodak Zi8 showing the view through the AN/PVS-14 and AN/PVS-22 night vision devices. Filming "handheld" through a NOD is difficult at best and this should not really be considered indicative of the quality of either device. The area I filmed this in was dark enough that the field was just a gray soup. There was glow from the highway interchange, but not enough to make out individual forms. The next time I do this I will attempt to photograph the area with a true representation of how much light was available.
