How to Deploy Ruby on Rails App on Render

Deploying a Ruby on Rails app on Render is a straightforward process. Render is a cloud platform that offers a simple and efficient deployment process, providing users with everything they need to launch and run their applications quickly and securely. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to deploy a Ruby on Rails app on Render:

   Create a Render account: Go to Render's website and create an account. Render offers a free tier that allows users to host up to 100 GB of data transfer per month.

   Create a new web service: After logging in to your account, click the "Create New" button and select "Web Service" from the list of options.

   Configure your web service: Fill in the name of your service, select the region you want to deploy your app, and choose "Ruby on Rails" as your environment. You can also choose your preferred deployment branch, and configure any necessary environment variables or build commands.

   Connect your app to Render: Connect your app to Render by providing access to your GitHub or GitLab repository. If you don't use either of these platforms, you can upload your app files manually.

   Deploy your app: Once you've connected your app to Render, click the "Create Web Service" button. Render will then start building your app and deploying it
