Jane Chase, an enthusiastic zoology student, volunteers to be an assistant researcher to Dr. Steven Philip, a headstrong animal researcher who experiments on chimpanzees to function similarly to humans. She meets Link, a 45-year-old chimp that acts very civilized. As Jane applies her principles as a zoologist, she’s wrapped up in her own oblivion as Link devises a sinister plan.
