How to Create a Funky Retro Album Cover in Photoshop
In this tutorial I will be showing you how to design a retro album cover straight out of the 70's! To create our album cover we will be using The Beardy typeface by Aiyari from The Amazing Designer's Creative Collection. Along with these great fonts you will also find various brushes, textures, lettering kits and watercolour collections from some of the top creators in the industry today. If you're all ready for a blast from the past then fire up Photoshop and let's get started!

02:40 Add gradient over the image
04:41 Add texture overlay
09:09 Change colours on the image
12:14 Add text to the album cover

17:18 Add actions to create a long shadow effect
20:44 Finish the type effects
22:59 Bring the face and hands of the singer in front of the text
25:30 Add more details to the poster
27:30 Add a border to the poster design
28:34 Curves adjustments to the image
