Chinese Communist Party unveils top leadership

The Chinese Communist Party unveiled its new Politburo Standing Committee members on Sunday (Oct 23), with Xi Jinping staying on as general secretary for another five years. The appointment comes after a week-long congress of 2,300 party delegates, during which they approved a reshuffle and endorsed Xi's "core position" in the leadership.
