This video is kind a of a beast. But hopefully I covered all the steps clearly and it justifies the length (you'll have to let me know!) Link to the pattern used are down below!

Oof my background is a mess in that intro. It's been chaotic here, okay!!

The pattern for this hat is available to patreon supporters HERE: Patreon: 18786249

(that shows how I made the bodice i'm wearing)

✩Heavy duty thread: the one featured in this video is by Coat's & Clark's, and called Extra Strong. I've NEVER had this thread break on me, it's great and not too expensive ($2 a spool) but isn't required for this project. It just makes it easier.

✩Wire: I was using 18 gauge picture hanging wire - but the wires purpose doesn't matter, as long as it is thin enough to be bendable and strong enough to hold its shape. I'd personally recommend galvanized steel wire.

✩Interfacing : The interfacing used is by pellon, here is a direct link:

It feels like felt but is much stiffer. You can get the type with or without fusible webbing; it doesn't matter that much.

✩Buckram: I've used this one and had  good luck https://www.onlinefabricstore.net/hea...

I think all the fabrics were from the garment district, I don't remember wear though. Sorry!

The nail polish is Sunflowers from illiminte. But I call it pin head yellow.

Youtube likes to mark my videos as 'not suitable for all advertisers' because its algorithm is broken. Ad revenue doesn't cover material costs for most projects featured in videos; much less a wage for the time spent filming and editing.
