EASY! Lost Foam Casting Process - Casting Foam - Turning foam into METAL

Today I experiment with the lost foam casting process by turning Styrofoam metal. I used drywall joint compound, better known as drywall mud, to coat the Styrofoam.  Once coated, I allowed it to dry before burying it in sand.  The drywall joint compound is a great way to preserve the detail on foam objects.
