In this Blender 3D modeling tutorial, I'll show you how to scale an imported floor plan so that you can use the units inside Blender to 3D model based on your floor plan. This is a great way to create accurate architectural visualizations, even if your floor plan is not in CAD format.
*Here are the steps:*
1. Import your floor plan into Blender.
2. Rotate the floor plan so that it is horizontal.
3. Choose a long dimension on the floor plan to use as a reference for scaling.
4. Create a cube in Blender and scale it to the same length as the reference dimension on your floor plan.
5. Move the cube to the corner of the floor plan.
6. Set the pivot point of the floor plan to the 3D cursor.
