“The City Centre project, located in the heart of the City will be a gathering place for residents to experience recreation, culture, arts, entertainment, restaurants and employment. The City Centre project will create a high quality, sustainable community for residents to live, work, play, gather, explore and celebrate”, explains Marisa Carpino, Chief Administrative Officer of the City of Pickering.

Pickering’s City Centre is envisioned to undergo a bold transformation. Inspired by world-renowned public spaces, the project will see an exciting array of new, state-of-the-art municipal facilities including a Performing Arts Centre, a combined Seniors & Youth Centre, a relocated and expanded Central Library, and a vibrant public square.
