The Chiado Walking tour. Discovering Lisbon with a local (and also a real estate agent).

In this walking tour we will see different architecture styles in Lisbon and know some of the artists who lived and worked in the area. We will see the links between the history of Lisbon and Portugal’s cultural identity through some art creations and the sense of humour of one important artist of the 19th century.

We will discover some gems from the 14th century, highlight the national monuments in this neighbourhood and understand the importance of Chiado for Lisbon and Portugal.

Your guide is Lúcia Fragoso. I am Portuguese and my love for Lisboa comes from growing up here and living here most of my life. My deep knowledge of Lisbon's history, architecture, art, and changes over time inspired me to create a walking tour in the neighbourhood of Chiado.
