Thomas C. Mountain, a lifelong activist, educator and historian and an independent journalist, who has spent a significant amount of time researching, reporting and writing on the Horn of Africa, joins the show to discuss the history behind the ongoing conflict in the Horn of Africa, including the roles of Eritrea, Ethiopia, the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (the TPLF) and the role of the US and the CIA, as well as the role of Egypt and other region powers.
