Ancient Beach and Indian Mound at Lake Wales Ridge State Forest

Take a journey with me back into the past as I explore and hike around these parts of Lake Wales Ridge State Forest in central, Florida. This area was once a series of islands back when Florida was mostly covered by ocean. The areas were once inhabited by Native American Indians as well.
