Car Ripped In Half During High Speed Crash With Grandma And 2 Kids Inside - All Taken To Trauma
Just before midnight, near the intersection of Southwest 112th Avenue and 224th Street in Miami-Dade Florida, a Ford Mustang slammed into a Cadillac that was attempting to make a left turn into a shopping plaza. The Cadillac was ripped in half and according to witnesses was occupied by a grandmother, a 2 year old boy and 1 year old girl. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue transported all victims to a nearby trauma hospital by helicopter and by ground.
In this video you will see the car crash aftermath including the Cadillac in two pieces and the smashed Mustang. There are interviews with 3 people who witnessed the crash and helped out. At the end there is some video of the actual crash caught on camera.
Although in the interviews with witnesses there is mention of a possible police chase leading up to the crash, I have no information whatsoever confirming that. There may have been officers nearby that also witnessed the crash and turned their emergency lights on as they approached the scene to render aid.
