No, this isn't some long-forgotten piece of his.
I don't doubt that this set I compiled is more involved than a series basic transcriptions, yet out of all its 42 minutes, I actually composed maybe two or three bars? Somehow, this still feels as much mine as any of my other creations... Whatever the case (and whether or not any of it matters), one thing I know for sure is that I had a great time arranging (and rearranging) all these works.

21:40 - Hot Mesto - Piano Sonata No. 7, Op. 10 No. 3 (1798)
A note to add that I think there are probably three frames of reference one can hear these pieces from: knowing each and every source that built them up, knowing some but not all, or knowing none. I hope that—from whichever frame of reference you're approaching—they're both coherent and (most importantly) enjoyable.
