Always wanted to walk along Hadrian’s Wall? Want to know more about Roman history and the building of the Roman wall in Britain? Being over 50 is an ideal time of life to start working through your bucket list and stretch your legs. The Hadrian’s Wall walk is a national trail that spreads across the North of England and highlights some stunning Northumberland Scenery. Emperor Hadrian instructed the building of a wall in Northern England in AD122. It stretches from Newcastle in the East to Bowness in the West. The wall is commonly referred to as Hadrian’s wall. This video shows the first stage of the Hadrian’s Wall walk from Wallsend (Segedunum), to Heddon-on-the-Wall. In the video we see a glimpse of Roman history in Britain.
