In 2023, Liverpool hosted Eurovision on behalf of 2022’s winner, Ukraine. The city saw the competition as an opportunity to bring together local communities, commerce and public services. The impact of this event would be defined by more than financial and economic benefits, generating in addition much wider positive, local social value.
