The Lee Hee-moon Company, directed by sorikkun Lee Hee-moon, is a team of artists who sing, play instruments, and dance. A blend of genres, the group's performances takes as their motif the wealth of material found is Gyeonggi minyo(the folk songs of the Gyeonggi-do region). Lee brings traditional Korean singing from the peripheries of the Korean arts to the fore of his performance to be juxtaposed with disparate genres. The sounds thus created invite the audience to listen to music in a new way.
