The Law of Revenge (AngSaIyoAyAkin) EP1 synopsis :

Ellice, daughter of pearl jewelry businessman, Jorge, and Marissa, daughter of Jorge’s former business partner, nurture a friendship transcending status and money. It is a relationship far from perfect, with Marissa harboring innocent jealousy over Ellice’s comfortable life, a life she and her mother, Lucing, once had.
Marissa’s loyalty will soon be put to the test when she sees her best friend and her unrequited love, Victor, together at Ellice’s going-away party. Disgusted over Marissa’s affections, Victor then forces himself onto Ellice, an incident that quickly takes a fatal turn. Marissa then offers to take the blame for that fateful night on the promise that her adoptive uncle, Jorge, will guarantee her safety, and even a much-deserved reward, for her sacrifice. Governor Montelibano, Victor’s father, however, steps in to thwart Jorge’s plans, leaving Marissa to suffer for a crime she never committed.
Away from it all, Ellice rebuilds her life slowly but surely, not knowing what has become of her childhood friend back home.
