This Pilates Post-Natal Beginner class is technically the 4th trimester of pregnancy, the postpartum period. You will need a long scarf for this class, which is long enough to go around your hips. This is also Diastasis Recti safe, even if you are no longer considered Postpartum. New moms from 0 weeks to 6 weeks ( before given the doc’s OK), you start rebuilding your core connection by doing the first six exercises. I will mention it in the video.
We will start reconnecting to your core, firstly, by breathing. We will then get in touch with your pelvic floor health and your deep Tranverse Abdominal muscles. Whilst doing this class, I encourage you to be dig deep into your inner connection. Even if it is challenging to find, consistent practice pays off. Make sure you have your doctors’ clearance for exercise Postpartum to go past exercise number 6 and beyond.

Mira has a certified Pilates instructor with 15 years of teaching experience and a certified Pregnancy Pilates instructor for 10 years. She is the mother of a beautiful 3-year-old girl named Kaia.
