Welcome to the City of Gunnison, Colorado—a.k.a. “Base Camp of the Rocky Mountains.”

The Gunnison Valley is home to the second-largest tributary of the Colorado River, more than 750 miles of multi-use singletrack trails, the largest body of water in Colorado, one of the few International Dark Sky Parks in the state and more than 2 million acres of public land. There is no shortage of fun and exciting things to do in and around Gunnison.
