This prospect by the last crop of the phenomenal racehorse and stallion Pioneerof the Nile has everything you look for in a classic two-turn horse; a powerful stride, fluidity, and a loaded pedigree! He breezed a quarter mile in 21.2 seconds, galloping out three furlongs in 32.4 seconds, and the half mile in a snappy 47.2 seconds at the 2022 June Ocala Breeders’ Sale of two-year old’s in training. His classic pedigree is loaded on both sides and includes Grade 1 winner Dortmund, a chief rival to 2015 Triple Crown winner American Pharoah, who was sired by this prospects sire, Pioneerof the Nile!
He will be trained by racing legend and Hall of Famer Richard Mandella, one of the best trainers in the game and who’s provided MyRacehorse partners with thrills with the likes of Forbidden Kingdom, Lane Way, and Tizamagician. Other famous horses trained by Mandella include Beholder (whose sire Henny Hughes is this prospect’s dam sire), Pleasantly Perfect, The Tin Man, Omaha Beach, and United. The Mandella barn has been great with the MRH partners for years and we look forward to adding another to the barn.
The ridgling is currently at Silver Springs in Lexington, KY receiving a break out of the sale, which is customary for our program and will be headed to Richard’s barn later this summer/early fall.
