Ingredients:-
• 500 gms chicken
• ½  tea spoon turmeric powder
• 1 - 2 table spoon curd
• 1 tea spoon ginger, garlic paste
• 3 tomatoes (For Tomato puree)
• 4 finely chopped onions - (For Tadka)
• 1 medium chopped onion - (For Vatan)
• 4 table spoon grated dry coconut - (For Vatan)
• 1 to 2 tea spoon malvani masala
• 2  bay leafs
• 1 black cardamom
• 4 to 5 peppercorns
• 2 cinnamon
• 2 to 3 cloves
• Finely chopped coriander
•  3 to 4 table spoon oil
• Salt (As per taste)
• 1 cup water

Method  of Cooking:-
• Boil the green peas and copped potatoes (Together) – We need to add one tea spoon salt to it. Cook it until it’s boiled properly.
• Boil the tomatoes till you see the outer skin peeling off.
• For Vatan – Heat up the oil for 1 to 2 mins add medium chopped onion, once the onion turns slightly reddish add grated dry coconut. Roast until it the mixture turns brown.
• Put the (Onion and Coconut) mixture along with half cup water in the mixer until we get a thick paste of the same.
Now keep a pan on the gas, add 2 to 3 table spoon oil once the oil is heated, add curry leaves,  asafoetida, finely chopped onions mix it properly. Once the onion turns pinkish add turmeric powder mix well, add ginger garlic paste, mix well. Add red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, tomato puree, mix it well, add 2 to 3 spoon vatan. Mix well.
• Now add the half boiled green peas and copped potatoes to the mixture, mix well and add ½ cup of water, mix well. Now add ½ tea spoon garam masala and salt (Mind it, you had added salt, while boiling the green peas and potatoes, so add accordingly) now mix it well.
• Keep the mixture on gas, until you it boils properly.
• The Aloo Mutter is ready to be served.
• This dish goes well with Chapati, Bhakari and plain paratha.
