Delhi daredevils that had topped the group table in the first time in IPL history.
now looked ready to take over the League.
With a lineup consisting off Mahela Jaywardhane, Sehwag, Ross Taylor, Kevin Peterson, Andre Russell, Morne Morkel, Umesh Yadav, Aaron Rogers, Irfan Pathan,
the team had a well balanced balling and batting side that could bulldoze and opponent.
But shockingly, in the Semifinals they lost against Kolkata knight riders.
The loss by itself could have been written off as a fluke
but the wrong lesson learnt from the loss lead to the greatest Blunder in IPL History.
The Decision to bench the Purple cap winner from the side.
Today we understand the complexity that lead to the greatest of all mishaps
and how confidence and belief and a cold hard look at the facts is what matters the most in the end. Especially at the top.
