The Story of Bengal E01 | Nawab Siraj ud-Daulah’s Coronation | Faisal Warraich

Bengal was the most prosperous province in the 18th century Mughal Empire. Nawab Alivardi Khan made it independent. He faced the Maratha Empire and gave concessions to the British East India Company. Then Nawab Siraj ud-Daulah became Nawab of Bengal after him. But the East India Company didn’t like him. Thus a new chapter was written in the history of Bengal and Hindustan. This was the beginning of the East India Company rule in the subcontinent.
