HUGE disappointment at Comerica Park

I paid a LOT for flights, hotel rooms, a rental car, and fancy tickets so that I could be here for the Detroit Tigers 1984 celebration -- and to be clear, it WAS a really fun day, but my number one goal was to snag a commemorative baseball. Want to guess what happened? As it turned out, there WERE NO COMMEMORATIVES!!! Bad intel, man. It happens but this was particularly frustrating. (I know, I know . . . first world problems.) Other than my amazing seats for the game, the highlight was getting to see Tarik Skubal pitch against the Boston Red Sox. He's probably gonna be this year's American League Cy Young Award winner, so it was cool getting to see him do his thing. I was also glad to spend some time with my friend Muneesh (@roundingthirdmj) who's a fellow New Yorker and insane baseball fan and was on a road trip of his own.
