Hi guys, thanks for stopping by my channel.
Here is my first macrame keychain, the “Mermaid Tail.”
If you are new to macrame or need extra help with the diagonal clove hitch knot, please watch this in depth tutorial which includes all of my tips and tricks for it:

For this keychain I used a 1inch wide key ring with a claps, these can be found on Amazon or in your local craft store.
The cord I used is a 5mm single ply cotton.
I cut 3 pieces at 5.25 feet/160cm.
For the gathering knot at the bottom I just used a scrap piece I had laying around which measured about 18inches/46cm
When this Mermaid Tail keychain is complete, it measures roughly 6inches/15cm.
