If we admit that each nitrogen base is a unit of information, in only one human chromosome there are approximately 20 billion units of information. Knowingly, 1 letter of any common alphabet can be identified through 6 units of information. If we divide 20 billion by 6, we will have around 3 billion letters. A word, on average, needs 6 letters to be written. If we divide 3 billion by 6, we will have around 500 million words. A book page has an average of 300 words. If we divide 500 million by 300, we will have something around 2 million pages. If we admit that an average book has 500 pages, by dividing 2 million by 500, we will have 4,000 books. Therefore, a single human chromosome may contain information from more than 4,000 books.
