Thanks to this interesting design solution, the guitar sounds very dense, with good readability and a pronounced upper mids. To adjust tone, the C-1 E/A CLASSIC features magnetic pickup volume and tone controls (with Push-Pull), piezo volume and tone controls, and separate magnetic and piezo pickup switches. The body is made of mahogany with a zebrawood top, the neck is of mahogany with reinforced carbon fiber rods, and the fretboard is of ebony.
