“CHRISTIAN SONGS CAN ALSO FIGHT DEPRESSION,” DORCAS WORKERS SAY

Dorcas Workers of Lusaka North Mission District in Midlands West Zambia Conference have encouraged citizens to frequently sing Christian songs as one way of dealing with depression.

Speaking during the music fellowship held at Chazanga Main congregation on Sunday, November 20, 2022, the district Dorcas leader, Florence Chansa implored the young and old citizens of this great nation to conquer depression by playing and singing soothing Christian songs as King David from the Bible did when he was depressed.

“Not only is music a tool for praising God, but also a key in promoting healthy, such as fighting stress, depression and stabilizing blood pressure,” said Mrs Chansa in Bemba.

Dorcas Workers have over the years been instrumental in promoting the well-being of mankind.
