STEP BY STEP instructions on how to replace a coolant temperature sensor, this particular vehicle is a VW golf mk5 but it is the same procedure for other vehicles fitted with this type of sensor, vw, Audi, Skoda, seat.
Fault, Fans constantly running when car is cold (Not up to temperature). if the sensors do not cure the issue you might have a wiring issue, this vehicle did. see other video on how to check wiring
