First-ever Audi A6 Electric (2024): Here's all that you need to know!

One of the most pivotal models in Audi’s future line-up is to be the Audi A6 Electric, which will rival the uber-popular Tesla Model S, Lucid Air, Mercedes EQE, and BMW i5 in the U.S. With a starting price tag expected to begin at around EUR 65,000, the Audi A6 Electric will be based on the Porsche co-developed 800-volt 'Premium Platform Electric' (PPE) architecture.

Most variants of the Audi A6 Electric will get all-wheel drive, while the top model could boast around 470 horsepower & 590 pound-feet of torque. The WLTP-estimated range of the new Audi EV is expected to be around 435 miles, while the batteries should be capable of handling DC fast charging of up to 270 kW. European launch of the all-electric A6 could take place in the first half 2024, with the U.S. launch expected later the same year.
