This boss fight guide is the easy way on how to beat Lu Bu and stop him from Flaming up his weapons in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty.
The easiest way to defeat Lu Bu is to hold your guard and wait for his unblockable and learn the deflect timing. I'll show you how to deflect Lu Bu's attacks, that way he wont get to fire up his weapons. Dodging away can use to much spirit, so holding the block and pressing the deflect at the right time can reduce that. Especially important if his weapons are on fire that do a lot more damage.
How to Deflect Wu Bu -
On the horse:
When he jumps in the air and on the way down, as soon as you hear that rumble noise and some force animation around him, deflect.
When he charges you deflect at the earliest moment as soon as he is about to move towards you, as its a fast charge.
On Foot:
When he jumps in the air towards you, deflect when his pass the halfway mark towards you.
When he drags his weapon along the ground running towards you, deflect at the very last moment when he is right in your face.
Though during my combat I preferred to use my martial arts while waiting for Lu Bu to perform his unblockable attack. I did the fight solo as the reinforcement interrupted sometimes.
