As you can see in the image at the beginning of the video, there are three steps that you should go on, before you can use excel for calculating the p-value. So we first start with a null and alternative hypothesis, then we go through defining alpha or level of significance, then we choose a test statistic, calculate it, and head to computing p-value. The last step is to compare it with test statistics and decide. If the p-value is smaller than the test statistic, the null hypothesis is rejected. If not, it seems like we don’t have enough evidence to prove it wrong.
