The Standen TSP1900 is a custom-built, tractor-trailed (pull type) sweet potato harvester. The TSP1900 was designed and developed together with a select group of big-player sweet potato growers including Burch Farms, Thornhill Farms and Dawson Farms in the United States of America, and USA Standen importers Farmers Harvest Inc.
Standen TSP1900 technology includes the highly effective VariStep, an adjustable web-step between the first two webs, this allows on-the-move adjustment of the primary soil separation process. Duracam polymer stars aid pre-separation, with the outstanding Omega fluted roller separation system, a stainless steel variable roller sizer, and optional twin-boom discharges also featured.
This machine harvests 2-rows of sweet potatoes planted at between 28-36 inch rows, it has a strong open-plan tubular chassis providing great strength without excess weight, superb driver visibility and easy maintenance access.
Lifting, separating, vine (haulm) removing, sizing and discharging functions are all optimised to give great harvesting performance, every time you lift your crops.
With its gentle lifting, large area low-angle digging/sieving webs and minimal crop transfer heights to reduce tuber damage, the TSP1900 has the right design and equipment to ensure that crops are always handled with care.
This harvester features all-hydraulic variable speed drives throughout. All speeds are adjustable from the driver’s tractor seat. Gentle harvesting really is at the operator's fingertips.
The TSP1900 uses a section of its tubular chassis as a high capacity hydraulic oil reservoir, providing effective, natural oil cooling, a thermostatically controlled electric oil cooling fan is standard equipment.
Special polymer stars offer cushioned transfers for the crop arriving from the sieving web. These stars are designed to start the separation process, gently moving the sweet potatoes to the main Omega table separation area.
The World famous Omega fluted roller system provides gentle, effective high capacity separation of clods, stones, vines and weeds for efficient crop cleaning and effective removal of unwanted material. The soft special compound polymer fluted rollers have deformable air pockets and work together with rubber or steel clod rollers in an easily adjustable system, suitable for all conditions.
Anti-dive geometry helps the automatic depth control maintain a constant digging share depth. The automatic share depth control, independent left and right, is standard equipment, and the digging depth is fully adjustable from the driver’s tractor cabin.
