The Big Six is a hybrid Interface/Mixer with high A/D conversion and analog summing capabilities.
This thing punches but that should not surprise you as SSL is known for its patented sound. Big Six is the successor of its little cousin "The Six" which is a form fitting version of this unit with a lot more bells and whistles.
