Remote Desktop from Ubuntu to Windows with Sound Redirection

Several videos have appeared on this channel on how to make a remote desktop connection from Windows to Ubuntu. This video demonstrates how to make a remote desktop connection from Ubuntu to Windows using Remmina client software. The demonstration shows how this is done using Windows 11 and Ubuntu 22.04 and includes sound redirection. Sound redirection happens when you play a video or song on the Windows machine and listen to it on the Ubuntu machine. Although Win 11 and Ubuntu 22.04 are demonstrated here you can use Remmina to connect older versions of Ubuntu to older versions of Windows. If you've tried to make Windows and Ubuntu play nicely on a remote connection you will see that it is much easier to connect Ubuntu to Windows than the opposite way,  connect Windows to Ubuntu.

Update 11/1/2022: If you are using Ubuntu 22.04.1 or have updated from 22.04 the 'Audio output mode' may have to be switched from 'Remote' to 'Local' to get sound to work correctly. Not sure what the issue is but I had a report in the Comments section of this video about this. And I began having issues with sound on an Ubuntu laptop and this solution worked for me.
