Alhamdulillah, after 3 years of relentless efforts, I have finally found the real place of the real Sinai, Jabal e Toor. This sacred location is where Bani Israel once worshipped the golden calf made by Samri. The rock art in the background depicts this historical event, a stark reminder of the trials faced by Prophet Musa (Moses) A.S. as he led his people.
The story of the golden calf is a profound lesson in faith and obedience. When Prophet Musa A.S. went to Mount Sinai to receive the Torah, Samri led some Israelites astray by creating a golden calf for them to worship. This act of disobedience highlighted the constant struggle between faith and temptation.
Standing here, I am reminded of the significance of this place in our Islamic history and the enduring lessons it holds for all of us.
