Couples work together to overcome difficulties - Husband works to help wife build a future
in a poor and difficult countryside. With ingenuity and endless labor, the farmer and his wife found a way to make a living by picking taro and selling it at the market. Even though this job doesn't bring much profit, they still patiently work every day to earn enough money to make ends meet.
Meanwhile, the wife's husband had to find a job at a wood factory. However, due to an accident in the past, he only has 2 fingers left on his hand, making his job more difficult. The owner of the wood factory only paid him a little money because he could not work as usual. He felt sad and hopeless before this difficult situation.
To ease his sadness, he went drinking. The farmer couple's livelihood becomes full of emotions and hardships. They have to face the difficulties and challenges that life poses. However, no matter how difficult it was, they still did not give up. They always try and hope that one day, their lives will improve and they will have the opportunity to escape poverty and hardship.
