You’re a whole new person
You’re a whole new person after having a baby. After giving birth for the first time, you enter into the POSTPARTUM PERIOD and SEASON where things that may have been run of the mill before birth are now new experiences. You don’t need to be scared about what happens after birth! Having answers to simple questions like: “When does period start after birth? Or Should sex hurt after having a baby? Or Why do women have incontinence after childbirth or constipation after c-section?” will help you feel more confident about a few of the POSTPARTUM FIRSTS you’ll likely experience. In this video, we talk about postpartum firsts that not many people talk about. You’ll learn about what to expect after giving birth in terms of postpartum sex / painful sex, your first period after giving birth, and the first few times peeing and pooping. The postpartum recovery is not a quick one- sometimes due to postpartum constipation or painful sex after birth from perineal tears that needed stitches after birth pelvic floor therapy is needed to help recover the body.
