Strengthen Your Stats Skills: Library Search / Article Critique

For this video presentation, Dr. Allwright has invited a speaker from the Walden Library, Kim Burton, who will share a workable strategy to locate a quantitative research article for a specific statistical test. Dr. Allwright will follow the Library’s liaison’s presentation with details about a meaningful article critique. Dr. Allwright will share a t-test article and explain how the test choice,  research question, and variables can be located in the title and abstract.  Dr. Allwright will offer additional pointers towards a successful article critique, including where to locate the research design, and specific areas in the results section. Lastly, Dr. Allwright will briefly discuss guidelines for article critiques about the ANOVA test, correlation and bivariate linear regression, and multiple linear regression.
