As a Navajo woman and Baha'i Nanabah Bulman has a unique outlook on both the Baha'i Teachings and her own Navajo culture.

Nanabah Nishli Bulman—born of her mother’s Where the Water Comes Together Clan and her father’s Red Running into the Water Clan—offers the unique wisdom of the Diné people when she urges us all to develop an “inner sense of sacredness, harmony and beauty—“hozho,” in the Navajo language—that will lead to spiritual transformation. In her talk, Nanabah investigates the Navajo Beauty Way and its relationship to the Baha'i Faith, and tells the story of her ancestors, who went on a spiritual quest to find the Everlasting Beauty. “What they found,” she says, “was a global community attracted to the same beauty—Baha’u’llah. We believe that Baha’u’llah has come to humanity to restore beauty again.”
