Ingredients
------------------------------------------------
1 and half kg chicken
Kashmiri chilli powder 2 tsp
Cardamom powder 1 tsp
Black pepper 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Pinch saffron
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Ginger and garlic paste 1 tbsp
Cooking oil 1/3 cup (around 80ml)
Salt to taste
Roast the chicken at 180 degree for 1 and half hours
For Mandi Rice
-------------------------------
Cooking oil 1/2 cup (around 125ml)
Green cardamom 8-10nos
Black cardamom 4nos
Cinnamon sticks 3nos
Pepper corns 1tsp
Bay leaves 4nos
Cloves 1tsp
Onion chopped 2 medium
Cardamom powder 2 tsp
Black pepper 2 tsp
Hot water 2 litters
Salt to taste
Dry lemon 5nos
Basmati rice 4.5 cups (soaked before 30 mins)
Pinch saffron (soaked before 10 minutes)
Charcoal
Heat off and steam the rice with smoked
aroma of charcoal
