भाजपा सांसद बृजभूषण सिंह ने अपने बेटे के प्रचार के दौरान अपने विरोधियों पर कई गंभीर हमले किए. बृजभूषण सिंह ने कहा कि कुश्ती संघ का अध्यक्ष का चुनाव उन्होंने अपने व्यवहार के दम पर जीता था. दीपेन्द्र हुड्डा को 51 में से सिर्फ 4 वोट मिले थे जबकि मुझे 47 वोट मिले थे. इतना ही नहीं बृजभूषण शरण सिंह ने दावा किया कि इन लोगों को पता लग गया था कि जल्दी ही करण भूषण सिंह कुश्ती संघ के अध्यक्ष बनने वाले हैं इसलिए इन्होंने ये कुचक्र रचा.

Brij Bhushan Singh said that he won the election of the President of the Wrestling Association on the basis of his behaviour. Deependra's diary got only 4 votes out of 51 while I got 47 votes. Not only this, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh had claimed that these people had come to know that soon Karan Bhushan Singh was going to become the president of the wrestling association, hence this vicious circle was created.
