For reference:
I had never wild-camped before. I had previously done only one multi-day hike. Specifically, a 7 days hike in Switzerland ('via alpina') in August 2019 staying in hotels and mountain huts. I had done lots of 1-2 day hikes, mostly in Switzerland.

The toughest part of the 16 days? Getting to Portpatrick! Oh boy!
