If you saw my previous video I showed you how to create a rule of thirds GUIDE in Photoshop. Though they seem very similiar a Grid is different than a Guide in the way it is set up.

Using grids instead of guides will allow you to set rule of thirds grid as default in Photoshop. Thusly whenever you turn on your grids you will display a rule of thirds. That is until you reset your grids.
