Welcome to the second part of my in-depth exploration of Fisker, spanning the years 2016 to 2024. In this video, I delve into Fisker's journey with insights from industry experts, Fisker owners, and my own driving experiences, offering a comprehensive analysis of their strategic evolution in the electric vehicle (EV) market.
In the 1st part, we explored Fisker's debut with the luxurious plug-in hybrid Karma, examining its successes, challenges, and critical errors that ultimately led to its downfall. This analysis covered major events, production and supply chain issues, quality problems, and the impact of natural disasters. I have also evaluated Fisker's performance against big names in the automotive sector i.e. Henry Ford, Elon Musk (positives) and Nikola's Trevor Milton (negatives).
This video offers insights into Fisker's strategic shifts, from technological innovations to business model adaptations (direct to dealership model), highlighting successes, business plans (Ocean, PEAR, Alaska, RONIN), challenges, and critical errors that shaped their trajectory. Contrary to common misconceptions, the MKHBD wasn't the sole reason for the downfall of Fisker and this video will explain the reasons in detail.
