Tutorial for installing Installing Clear (29007) & Metal (RSG4) Meter Socket Closing (blanking) Plates into Meter-Pak, Combination Service Entrance Devices, EZ Metering, and Individual Meter sockets and understanding their differences. The Lexan (Clear non-metallic) meter socket closing plate, catalog number 29007, is used with Ring or Ringless type meter covers. The painted metal meter socket closing plate, catalog number RSG4, is used ONLY with Ringless type meter covers.
